Feedback from our valued clients

  • Welcome to T&T

Situated in the constantly growing town of Chapel-en-le-Frith, T&T is run by a local couple, Tim & Tara, who have over 30 years of barbering experience between them.

T&T are constantly striving to be a more eco-friendly business and are always actively looking into more efficient ways of running things. There is disabled access and a dedicated customer car park to the rear.

About us

Tim

Tim

Tim brings 15 years of industry experience to the shop, blending technical mastery with a relaxed vibe. Whether you’re looking for a sharp skin fade or a more tailored, classic look, Tim’s decade-and-a-half behind the chair means you’re in expert hands every time you sit down.

Precision & Personality
Tim believes a great haircut is about more than just the end result—it’s about the experience. His diverse range of interests means he can talk to just about anyone about just about anything.

Beyond the Barbershop
When he’s not at the shop, Tim stays busy with a mix of high energy and total relaxation:
• The Great Outdoors: You’ll often see him out running or hitting the trails for a hike.
• Creative Outlets: He spends his downtime playing guitar or getting stuck into the gardening.
• The Finer Things: A true fan of great food and a quality glass of spiced rum to end the week.

Tara

Tara

With 15 years of experience and a foundational background in hairdressing, Tara brings a unique, editorial eye to the barber chair. Her deep passion for fashion ensures that the people of Chapel always leave with a style that isn’t just a haircut, but a look that’s perfectly on-trend.

The "Zone"
Tara will be the first to tell you she has ADHD, which she considers her creative engine. When you’re in her chair, you’ll experience one of two things: a hyper-focused "flow state" where every detail is executed with precision, or a lively session of yapping about anything and everything. Either way, you’re getting a high-quality cut and a genuine connection.

Off the Clock
When she’s not behind the shears, Tara is usually:
• Cruising: Taking her classic Mini out for a run through the peaks.
• Exploring: Finding the best new local spots to eat.
• Unwinding: Diving deep into the latest true crime series.

Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea

Every great shop needs a mascot, and Sweetpea has been running the show for years. He’s our 14-year-old Yorkshire Terrier and the unofficial manager of the salon.

The Greeting
Sweetpea takes his job seriously. On arrival, expect a signature bark and a very thorough foot sniff—it’s just his way of checking your credentials. Once he’s cleared you for entry, he’ll usually retire to his post: sunbathing on the sofa in the best light he can find.

The Routine
He’s a smart old boy who knows the schedule better than we do. Sweetpea has negotiated a very strict contract: he gets a treat after every single client.
• Role: Security & Nap Specialist
• Hobbies: Quality control, chasing sunbeams, and snack solicitation.
• Age: 14 years young (and still the boss).
Don’t mind the noise—he’s all bark, no bite, and 100% personality!
